StudioRed worked side by side with A4Vision engineers to develop the 3D Face Reader, a revolutionary new wall mounted security system. The  team developed the product from the ground up, designing the product architecture, ergonomics, and the look and feel.

The product created a completely new experience in physical access control. It not only enclosed the complex internal technology, but was elegant and robust, all housed in a small form factor. StudioRed’s Industrial Design team focused on the user interface and ergonomic work, Mechanical Engineering did everything from thermal testing to production ready file releases while the Prototype team produced machined prototypes and cast housings for the initial market launch.  Production of the A4 Vision Face Reader occurred with tooling produced in China and production in Vacaville CA.
