Arcturus designed a system that would remove cellular material from tissue samples on microscope slides. The system removed both individual cells and clusters of cells for high volume tissue sampling while maintaining the quality of DNA, RNA, and proteins in the samples being removed. The challenge for StudioRed’s design team lay in making the instrument function like a standard microscope with a fully automated user interface.
