The Maquet Heartstring III is a unique proximal anastomotic device for heart surgery, designed to offer a complete hemostatic seal without the need for an aortic side clamp. Initially the product was only intended for surgical preparatory set up but ultimately developed into a full product with a shipping case as well as a set up tool.
